CHAPTER 1: Humble Beginnings.
Kloinicus was but a simple entertainer. He was the lead of a traveling troupe that consisted of him, his wife Beth and the Kloinicus family members. They were seen by the previous royal administration and hired to be full time entertainers in the kingdom. Kloinicus was appointed court jester and was always considered a delight to both the kingdom and people of the villages that surrounded the kingdom. Beth played the love interest in their act, she was the beauty to his beast. He played a sympathetic, tragic and comedic role. The family had served as royal entertainers for three kings. It was this third king that would change Kloinicus’s life forever.
Chapter 2: The Day Of Reckoning.
For Beth had not been faithful to Kloinicus. She had found a new love in the current king. Kloinicus had suspected something wasn’t right with Beth. He followed her one night to find the two of them engaged in the act of making love. Kloinicus on this day left with a new outlook on the world. For the Rokkarian faith was to be moulded out of what was to transpire next. He returned to his family and told them of what he had seen. A plan was forged. If you do Kloinicus wrong, his family then feels wronged also. The great plan to take over the kingdom was put into action. The army of the kingdom were all poisoned at the next dining session. That same night, Beth and the King were inevitably murdered by Kloinicus. He took great pleasure in murdering the king. But it was his wife that was the hardest. It was nothing personal, it was just… business. The family went on a violent and murderous rampage, killing all remaining people of importance throughout the kingdom. Their blood flowed like a river throughout many rooms of the castle. Kloinicus had officially taken over the kingdom and the land. His wrath inevitably reached the poor souls of the villages that he once entertained. The villagers were mortified to learn their hometown hero went from genius to a blood thirsty killer. But they too had wronged him. They had laughed at him for years. This enraged him. He wasn’t going to be their puppet any longer. For he would be pulling their strings. Kloinicus had found a hunger for chaos and destruction. He was quoted as saying: “I enjoy destroying lives. It turns me on.” A few months after the hostile takeover of the kingdom, Kloinicus had befriended a great leader, a powerful one at that. He was in charge of a neighbouring empire. The Holy Tzardom Of Khrom. This was run by a man known as Tzar Mayakolovitch I. But the Tzar formed this bond at a great cost. Kloincus had the Tzars young sons future in his hands. He promised to restore his health, keeping him alive. But If anything were to happen to Kloinicus, the Tzars son would perish.
Chapter 3: Heads (Three Different Ones) AKA: The Rokkarian/Ibesh Conflict.
Three Ibesh priests had decided to make a visit to see the people of Rokkarstan. Well, it was this day that changed the Ibesh nation. Upon visiting a village in the kingdom of Rokkarstan, the three Ibesh priests were greeted by a cannibalistic society. This sight was shocking to the eye. Kloinicus had the three men beheaded, this was done by Kloinicus himself. It was then that these three boxes containing the heads of these Ibesh priests would be sent to the Sultanate. This would then begin a long battle that would see the Rokkarians come out on top. Thanks to the help of the Tzar and his duel monarchy with The Kingdom Of Vestria, run by King Keheerathn II. This would see the Ibesh agree to handing over two naval ships.
Chapter 4: Build It And They Will Come.
One of the many great things about the Rokkarian nation was the extension of the already large castle within the kingdom. Villagers of Rokkarstan who were willing to help the cause under the watchful eye of both Rokkarian and Khrom soldiers, helped build this monstrosity. It’s one of the largest buildings in the land. A Kloinicus head looms from the top, keeping a watchful eye on those who dare enter the waters and the land of Rokkarstan. But it was King Kloinicus’s Rokkarseum that would trump it all. Upon the completion of the Rokkarseum, this monolithic structure would be used as a battleground to determine who in all of the neighbouring kingdoms has the best warriors.
Chapter 5: The Day The Laughter Died.
That brings us to this final chapter. At the age of 62 and after seventeen years in power, King Kloinicus died peacefully in his sleep. Despite his cruel reign over the kingdom, his people were saddened. They had become so used to his brutality, that it was a part of them. Some would say it wasn’t a fitting end for the mad king himself. Others would have liked to see him beheaded, hung or even imprisoned. He wasn’t a perfect man by any means. He wasn’t the king these people wanted, he was the king they needed. His reign would be remembered long after his passing. Yes this tale may be over. But it was time for another to take the throne. His son. For now the reign of Shortycus is upon us.
