The Kingdom of Vestria is officially known as the Lands of the Crown of Saint Nui.
It sits upon the horn on the north-western end of the southern continent's northern coast and stretches down to the great cliff that separates Sutherland from the reaches of Fanhorim-Dûr. It is ruled by the wise and elegant House of Silbamond who trace their line all the way to the first King, Judas, who in turn claims to be descended from the Great Prophet.

Persons of Interest

His Majesty, King Keheerathn, Second of His Name, Lord of the Promised Lands of Saint Nui and Protector of the Realm.
Succeeded his father, his majesty King Erhard, who ruled for one year before succumbing to his injuries from the Forty-four. Keheerathn II was named in honour of his grandfather, the Grandsire of Strife or the Glory-hound who is responsible for the "Fourty-Four" year reign of feuds and struggles. During the Forty-Four, he was a stubborn and determined man with the spark of Silbamond brilliance. It served him well navigating the murk of blurry allegiances and he lead the efforts of the Four Houses in keeping the realm from outright fracturing. It is under his guidance that Vestria emerges from the Glory-hound's shadow to be a country that can assert itself on the stage at Moot Rock. In his elder years, he has grown melancholic from ruling the realm away from his ancestral seat of Almagest and at the provisional capital in Tirol.

Her Majesty, First Princess Benedicta: Wed to Sdacha, son of Tzar Mayakolovitch I of Khrom. Benedicta is the most beautiful woman in Vestria. She is known for her compassionate and trusting demeanor. Before leaving for KhromKharr, she used to open and run orphanages across the realm.

Her Majesty, Second Princess Destra, the Wunderkind: Reikscalculator (a sort of minister for coin) on the King's high council, Destra is the pride of the Silbamond's main family. She is a prodigy who can see colours in numbers and can speak four languages fluently. She currently oversees the Almagest restoration and the logging activities in Ostal. Was heir-apparent until Prince Joseph's batism and she was moved to second-in-line to the Vestrian throne.

His Majesty, First Prince Joseph and Councilor to Shimeji: The day he was born, the very forests of Vestria whispered the name Joseph. He was born under the sign of Rokai, so naturally at his baptism at the Deep Well of Midnight, he was declared Keheerathn's heir. His current posting is as Councilor to the Free City of Shimeji as the Vestrian representative. His view for a stronger Vestria entails a future with more attention beyond Vestria's borders, a vision he shares with his elder sister, Princess Destra. The trade-boom serves to strengthen his position.

Her Majesty, Third Princess Elora: is the elder of the twins. Born under the sign of Harlaus, Elora was destined to herald the efforts of the Silbamonds to distant courts. She indeed left the Celestial Court but for the Blue Palace instead and serves in the Lunatic Order. Her faith in the teachings is strong and she counsels friends and foes alike. Her advancement in the order has been halted over an incident with bandits. Apparently, she is inclined to speak words of wisdom to any who ask and especially to those who don't and to even persons of suspect character.

Her Majesty, Fourth Princess Bianca, the fairy: is the younger of the twins. She was wed to Richter of House Tulmar to renew the Silbamond-Tulmar alliance. Bianca is of eccentric character and spends most of her time in the woods. Her servants call her to dinner and supper with a bell. Rumours say she wants her children to grow up in the forest, much to the chagrin of Duke Mekel, obviously concerned about the future lord of his beloved seat.

His Majesty, Second Prince Ginjahn

Her Majesty, Fifth Princess Bridget

Duke Szarab Delegraz: is a soft-spoken man with a propensity for mud wrestling and naked hiking. He's the firmest supporter of the Dual Monarchy.

Duke Pasha Orlock: can be most efficiently described in four words: old, bald, fat and ugly. He subscribes to the primacy of the King and wants the Lunatics to play a "more subtle and softer" role. Lord Pasha was the most generous benefactor of King Keheerathn I.

Duke Mekel Tulmar: is the King's cousin-in-law, so it's said he's got a spark of Silbamond brilliance. He's charismatic and forward-thinking and owns a third of the mercantile ventures in his city.

Richter Tulmar: Mekel Tulmar's first born son and heir.

Lord Admiral Godfrei Tulmar: serves on the King's high council, advising in matters in maritime security and has the command of the Khrom-Vestrian Combined Fleet. Brother to Duke Mekel.
