The End Is Written In Stone: The Age of Doubt Empty
PostSubject: The End Is Written In Stone: The Age of Doubt   The End Is Written In Stone: The Age of Doubt I_icon_minitime15.07.12 0:34

Part 4
Silence. That's what echoes through the warped battlefields and charred wastelands of Scaravanth's legacy. In a surprising turn of events and without reason, all invading Dark Gates seemingly deactivated simultaneously, the Time of Ending passed seamlessly. Naturally, all factions of the Terraineus Core have positioned defensive fortifications around the dormant portals, not willing to take chances for another continent-wide apocalypse. As if on queue, both the United Hegemony and Archaen Confederacy turned their attention to one another, focused on resuming their cold war, that'll soon heat up... but as we fight each other, Scaravanth watches, waits, studies. Time is not on our side.

---

Part 3

The time of preparation is over. The end is upon us. After the first wave, all the nations of the world were dealt massive casualties. As time passes, these figures rise. Much like the gates themselves, harbingers of Scaravanth itself. The actual gates themselves seem to have arisen at all points of the compass. North, south, east and west, found at natural choke-points. It is extremely highly recommended that you do not approach these portals alone. We currently have no means of shutting them down. It seems as though every civilization is preparing with their own counters, but will the defence of life be asymmetrical and unorganized? Or will there be cooperation between nations who need the assistance most? Only time will tell...whatever time remains. Our existence is in doubt.

---

Part 2
After close examination of the Tree of Life, Emperor Zyro Yuellas and Prime Inquisitor Saenx along with executive officials and staff discovered an ancient wall, buried under the tree itself, engraved with markings of a long-lost language. This is unmistakably, the Prophecy of The End. The story continues to unfold, the world stunned, caught between remaining undetermined, or risk the wastage of precious resources researching the legitimacy of the apocalypse.

---

Part 1
Legends, myths and rumors all shroud the mythological doomsday prophecy of The Wall. Somewhere beneath the wastes of southern Aequus is the supposed "Prophecy": portals of old, long buried, dormant and waiting will serve as the harbingers of the end times, where relics of the Precursors ascend to the realm of the living and the mortal. There, the reaping of flesh, burning of sky and defoliation of the seas begins as the army of infinity surges from these evil gateways. If you believe such stories...this tale has been told countless times in countless inns and taverns.

But this doesn't stop any would-be adventurer from searching the sands of Aequus. Who knew? The very same cradle of life conceals the threat of death and ending.

The entire Taell'as military has been mobilized in response to Scaravanth's attacks. The Second Army is en route to the province of Tirtiuga. The remaining armies are on the defensive, holding fronts across Avalar. The Hierarchy's forces stand steady against the initial attacks. No major victories.

The Federation has responded swiftly and decisively to the recent attacks with a secure nature. All settlements and Käeturg itself have been locked-down and have begun barricading all vital points to ensure the safety and survival of the citizens. Trade routes remain crippled.

Due to his valiant and selfless deeds of duty on the battlefield during these trying times, Avatar-of-War Alakaine Moertriktus is effective immediately, promoted to the position of High Magister, deserving of the rights and responsibilities of this prestigious position. Moertriktus will act as Under-seer of the Phoenix Council and The Patriarch's personal advisor.

There are individuals who perform to their utmost to serve the Hierarchy to the best of their ability -- as is expected from all -- but there are others who excel above the rest. Work hard and be happy. Glory to the Hierarchy!
