Recollection of Known Deities Empty

Over the course of history, throughout Terraineus there have been a plethora of religions and forms of worship. This will serve as a kept record for brief information regarding the multiple deities which have had a hand in our planet's creation and that have inspired many faiths.

Arvo:
Originally worshipped as tradition of the western tribes of Terraineus, Arvo is the holy God of the Sun. It was said that he is responsible for the existence of all heat and fire, and uses his mighty element to scorch, or "Purify" his enemies. He is also considered a god of War, as he rages the fire of conflict and that those who wave his banner shall never have faulty steel in their battles. Almost all known worship of Arvo has been lost, only minor traces in villages and independent tribes to the far west.

Naj'entus:
Worshipped by the hydromancers and tribesmen of the North East Flotilla, Naj'entus is an unholy horrific terror of the deeps. Once said to be the harbinger of the depths, and the progenitor of Krakens and squid, he is considered responsible for the existence of water, mist and rain. Being known only as an unfathomable creature from the greatest depths of oceans, worship to Naj'entus is common through zealot Pirates wishing to appease the horror of the seas, so that they might continue sailing through their life, whilst their enemies are devoured by the unspeakable horror. At the death of the Ropden leadership, very few loyalists remain in the vast North East, all still worship the name of Naj'entus.

SkoRm:
Once worshipped by a small cult of Acolytes in the far north, SkoRm is an immortal Dragon that lived within dense Jungle mountains thousands of eras ago. Those that have studied the creature long enough learn that he was the progenitor of Ravens, Rodents and Serpents, but also unbeknownst to most, bats. All known history of SkoRm points to the conclusion that it was an intelligent, vampiric reptile that revered in the Night, and hoarded the planet's greatest lore. After the death of the Acolytes, they left traces of the history of the creature throughout their temple within what is now known as Skjöldunga, where the Federation once adopted the religious practices, only SkoRm Loyalists now continue worship.

Ho-an:
The Ho-An of the Entei is a majestic bird often appearing with wings spread, head towards the sky or enemies of the nation. The Ho-An is a noble creature that once fought alongside the Entei, when they were still tribes, against a great silver dragon of the sea, known as the Leviathan. The Great Bird is what drives the Entei to live, in the hope of being great enough to experience death, yet not die that the Ho-An offers to those that stand strong in the face of adversity. It taught us that by staying strong and continuing to fight for what we know is right we shall never fade from this world. In the event of the destruction of the Entei it is said the Ho-An shall appear like it did millennia ago and turn the sky orange with flames and purge the ground with said fire that does not burn, fighting for the Ancestors of its homeland.

The late King, Richter Krieghund:
A fool who corrupted the ways of the Ho-An and sought to bring war and destruction to realms of Terraineus in the hopes of summoning the Great Bird to cleanse his enemies. After his initial resurrection by the Great Bird, guaranteed by his birthright, he manipulated the secrets of life he had learn't to obtain near immortality. Currently deceased thanks to the efforts of the inhabitants of Terraineus, Kreighund loyalists who oppose the new Belmont leadership seek to resurrect him once again, seeing him as a deity.

Robal: Patron god of the Taell'as people, Robal is the avatar of commerce and labour - two of the most important concepts of the Praxis of the Hierarchy, the nation's constitution. Robal is often depicted as a burly humanoid that carries a giant hammer and a hand full of gold. Seeing that religion is a taboo in Taell'as society and is not expressed freely, little else is known. He has a temple dedicated to him in Taersus City.

Avaar: is the god of magical phenomenon and the unknown. Avaar is highly revered by the magically gifted and in particular, The Inquisition.

Cronos: is the god of strength, honour and passion. Teetotaler Cronos was a pre-Hierarchy general charged with the defence of prehistoric Taersus City. He held the city for three decades until Praetor Yuellas rose to power. Cronos claimed that protecting Taersus City during this time was simply enjoyable.
