The Birch Expeditions

The Order was given and the men gathered their belongings and headed out from Medved Ruka in small fishing ships. Plotting separate courses not only east, but far north and south west, the many ships are given the signal at dawn to disembark for their final journey. To find and destroy the hidden White Striders with their evil grasp on power all over Drugoyvia.

For each known place of trade, commerce, society or religion is to be searched, this is to be completed first subtly but then slowly, more pervasively. Homes are not to be entered unless known to contain a Strider, although almost one quarter of all homes have been noted as "suspected". Streets were to be searched, touched, smelt and even tasted to ensure its existence as an inanimate object.



The raid was to consist of two groups, one group set on distracting onlookers and creating a spectacle to distract them and keep their attention. The other group was to mark, move or burn the Strider, regardless of the consequences of their actions. The devout acolytes will sacrifice their very lives to keep the realm safe.

The boat headed for St Yuellasburg was to create a commotion deep in the market square, where most Vestrians would be wandering. Whilst a group crossed the border near Castle Vladraxx. Tzar Sdacha Mayakolovitch II also decreed the garrisons from KhromKharr, Smolensk and the Akadameya were to be garrisoned now on the Border with Vestria, knowing full well the potential reaction of King Keheerathn II. Raiding and hunting camps have been erected out front of the Great Keep Vladraxx anticipating potential "special operations'' that may need to be conducted.

Another boat headed for Kandgulv in the Republic, this group would cause a scene whilst a group hiding within the Khrom embassay would then be clear to move. The last ship sailed north past moot rock and west to Sulhafa, this group were the most radical as all of them did not expect to return home. The devout followers brought supplies such as wood, oil, weapons, oars and parchments, all serving an important purpose. There is believed that there are hundreds of White Striders roaming the countryside although mostly sticking to native birch forests allowing for them to go unnoticed and unchecked.

This raid also was disclosed to no noble, royal or boyar within the Tzardom itself, the raid seemingly was planned and executed within hours of its initial conception. Only the Tzar himself and High Patriarch Zalek Malgov knew of this. High Patriarch Zalek Malgov believes within the Tzardom itself there lies several White Striders in places of authority to dismantle the kingdom from within. With the departure of these fishing ships came, to the capital an unexpected reality that the inhabitants were not ready for. Hundreds of peasants from distant parts of the Tzardom fill the capital city valley and the surrounding area hunting Braskian White Goats, the native species within the mountain ranges. These goats were taken, skinned and their blood poured throughout the city square, shocking onlookers. The goats were then hung from wooden posts which now will surround the valley of KhromKharr.

The future now becomes certain and all must prepare.
