Southern Powers and Skirmishes

The southern most expansion of the Tzardom have left serious logistics and supply issues for the western most villages
and settlements. The supply chain has been, over recent weeks, expanded and reconstructed to allow a thicker and stronger foundation
allowing more troops, wagons, supplies and carts to be more easily brought across the harsh tundra. Although these great strides were made
there still existed a supply bottleneck but this very problem allowed for the conception and founding of the regional power of Molensk.

The position of the new settlement was founded on the need for a southern power in the far reaches of the winter taiga. The environment has
presented a seemingly never ending list of issues for logistics, transport, agriculture and supply lines. The winter roads constructed
from KhromKharr reaching to the very southern reaches of the Tzardom have been an essential project which has allowed valuable resources
to be sent back and fourth. Although the roads themselves remain the only reason the settlements such as Sevostochnyy to Kreppov
have not fallen into starvation, rebellion and chaos the paths themselves are not sufficient to sustain the settlements' demands.

With the establishment of the new regional power of Molensk consisting so far of a mine, logging camp, hot house, tavern and a keep
it has allowed many migrants and regional villagers to move to the more stable settlement booting the population. With the conception
of the power, a Khrom noble and cousin to the Tzar himself Podochny Vleknya has been charged with its protection and stability, set
to rule the settlement from his newly constructed keep deep in the snow and has begun work on planting native bushes known for growing
nutritious berries, even sharing the same colour of the Tzardom.

But recent word has reached KhromKharr of several small villages and towns which had illuded the Tzars initital tundra campaigns which
now has fallen under the charge of Podochny himself. A messenger was sent to these settlements demanding the immediate annexation and
integration of their resources into the Holy Tzardom. What was recieved back was an insulting refusal and threat that the people
would defend themselves against this "horrible threat", a response which can result in only one conclusion; the total capitulation
of the inferior snow dwellers. The Tzar, after recieving word of the refusal has called to "muster the Krieb guard" and has allocated
tonnes of resources such as wagons, grain, meat, swords, arrows, armour, horses, stone, wood and of course, levies and soldiers.

Addressing the soldiers, nobles and levies before their journey south The Tzar spoke with vigour saying; "Yet another challenge has presented
itself to the great warriors of the Bear, our people will not stand by and be refused by weaklings who call themselves people of the snow. If they
fail to see wisdom, we shall bring reason onto them! The Bear calls for a test of strength and we shall not back down. None, as other nations, people and warriors have found out will stand in our way. March into the tundra, march to victory and march into the future of our great Tzardom! Pobeda! Pobeda! Pobeda!"
