The Ekedani Incident -- 16 Years Ago
Taking place in 3602.8 (Old Confederate Calendar), during the war between the Ryyhargon Kingdoms - an alliance of eight civilizations that fight united under the same umbrella, and the Serkan Confederacy - a technologically sophisticated fellowship of hundreds of federations and parties. The Serkan military has its eyes set on Ekedani 3, a planet with an immense natural deposit of Pyyridium (Crystal-like fuel), but is prevented by the DOG (Diplomatic Order of the Galaxy - an organization that seeks the betterment of all in the Solarysi Galaxy) protocol ED-148, which prevents an advanced civilization interacting or interfering with an 'unadvanced' civilization and its tech progress (<T-20). A Serkan fleet led by Fleet Commander Yuellas travelled into the Ekedani system claiming they were "passing through". That was actually the case when they happened upon the planet. The general populace's tech of Ekedani 3 was labeled "T-7" (or medieval) by the Serkan. Accounts from many sources makes reference to FCR Yuellas' latest orders; "Regroup, pacify the population and determine the location of the largest Pyyridium deposit". As if enough wasn't happening already, Grand Councilor Taldön is once again causing political unrest that could potentially cause a schism.

After a Serkan fleet was ambushed by a Ryyhargon trap, a minority of the crew of the Pionus Ingaire, the Serkan flagship escaped to the surface of the only habitable planet in the Ekedani system - Ekedani III, whilst the fleet led the Ryyhargon away so that Serkan personnel vital to the completion of the mission could remain in the system. Unfortunately, the strength of the enemy was under-estimated and serkan personnel who landed on the planet were adequately supplied, and are now marooned. The status of the Serkan fleet remains unknown, but the amount of Ryyhargon ships and aggressive tactics - a very rare sight, suggests that the Serkan forces had no chance of victory or escape.

PostSubject: Serkan Civil War, Birth of the Serkan Triumvirate   Thu Oct 10, 2013 10:20 pm

3603 - 1 New Confederate Standard Year -- 14 Years Ago
The Great Schism

3608 was the year the Serkan Civil war ended prematurely (don't worry about the dates so much). This also marks the first year of the New Confederacy Calendar.
Grand Councillor Taldön led a failed coup d'état against the High Council, leading to the Great Schism, between the Serkan Confederacy and the newly formed Talgoran Empire. The Dregonian League stepped in to mediate certain matters, ultimately preventing the war from escalating to full-scale.

At this time, Fleet Commander Zyro Yuellas' expeditionary team gained access to the I'ade Holy Codex on Ekedanii Erykk, and what seems to be a result of this, a fucking monolithic never-to-be seen before space-worthy construct, which was later identified as a 'Rubox scout vessel', moved from Ekedani towards Ryyhargon space (doing just that, walking passed ants). As you can imagine, everyone lost their shit.

Completely ignorant of the circumstances, the Ryyhargon Unions and Nations unwisely, and blindly launched an immediate assault on Serkan space. The sole consideration that the serkans have never been on the defensive is what lead to a unsteady cease-fire between the devastated Serkan Confederacy and relatively shiny Talgoran Empire. They both formed a permanent alliance with the Dregonian League, creating the Serkan Triumvirate, an authority which would supersede any individual government. The Ryyhargon offensive was absolutely decimated.

The first target of the Ryyhargon attack was the Serkan Confederacy Hub-World of Excentri. The mediocre defence ended in failure. Commanding Officer, High Commander Kila Aberax was left with the blame. Excentri remains to this day abandoned.

PostSubject: The Delnari Invasion   Thu Oct 10, 2013 10:57 pm

13 New Confederate Standard Years -- One Year Ago
Now It's Time For A Three-Way: The Delnari Invasion

Ever since the sighting of the Rubox thirteen years ago, there has been no other signs of whatfuckery. Things cooled down for six seconds, then they flared right up when someone wanted to form an alliance with the fucking Ryyhargon.

The Delnari Union (no-one has ever heard of them before), declared war on both the Ryyhargon Unions and Nations and the Serkan Triumvirate. The Ryyhargon are sick of being everyone's bitch, and the Serkans were pissed off because the Delnari were using old, stolen confederacy ships. It was clear that everyone wanted to take those fuckers down, so a couple commanders signed an unofficial non-aggression pact. But some bitch somewhere wanted to take this dance to a whole new level.

Disgraced High Commander Kila Aberax, (the 'failure' everyone hates for that single defeat), entered negotiations in the neutral space between both nations, referred to as the 'Ozen Frontier' by both. The justification was that the Rubox, I'ade and Delnari invasion were somehow linked and it was best to permanently pool resources, information and effort. Everyone who had been documenting the details of whatever twisted agreement they cooked up mysteriously vanished, but the result ended up with allowing the Ryyhargon Unions and Nations a permanent member seat of the Serkan Triumvirate. It was already done and no-one could stop them. Though, unsurprisingly, half their people got more mad than we were and felt like joining in on the trend of civil wars. The Glebg'ygedden Regency is the party that joined the Serkan Triumvirate, and the butt-hurt New Ryyhargon Kingdom is the aggressive faction that threw in with the Delnari Union. Amusingly, that brings the Serkan Triumvirate, which was headed by three factions to four, yet it's still called the Triumvirate. Sue Mark.

Currently, the fighting on the Serkan side affects two districts (sectors, or regions of space). One of them is District Daanfroth, headed militarily by Lord Commander Zyro Yuellas, administrated by Executive Administor Saenx Raffaenstein. The other is District Vaansi, which is supposed to be lead by Master Seer Alakaine Moertriktus (it says his name right on a hard paper document, though with Zyro Yuellas' handwriting), but no-one knows where that witch-doctor is. Formerate Zudoric Hikito is probably on a mission labeled 'top urgency', but is probably fucking a ryyhargon stripper somewhere. Zyro Yuellas claims that he's not "covering for him."

During a series of highly classified attacks committed by the Union, then Lancer Suddenius, against all possible fucking odds, managed to capture a working piece of Union technology. Got himself a non-existent medal and a promotion. The "package" was then shipped "back" to Daanfroth's capital Brigondon for "study" undertaken by the Leading Sciences Commission. The next day (read: next week), the New Ryyhargon Kingdom begins assembling on Zanctions in the Focysu system, adjacent to Brigondon for what appears to be a 'major invasion' when compared to historic Ryyhargon attacks. The mysterious-as-fuck Acolyte Oblivion (no-one has ever heard of him before) is admitted into Zyro Yuellas' personal honour-guard who are then poised to strike at the Ryyhargon menace alongside the SCCC provisional government of Indegeh City.

14 New Confederate Standard Year -- Current Year
The Rebirth of a Proud Nation

Zyro Yuellas, Saenx Raffaenstein, Alakaine Moertriktus and Zudoric Hikito. These four men conspire and plot, as if the universe were a fruit in their palm at their mercy of their terrible fingers.

The Serkan Civil War's end was the result of carefully threaded negotiations and policies overseen by Grand Councillor Taldön, who was appointed Emperor of the Talgoran Empire. Every measure was taken to see that no matter the outcome of the war, if the Serkan Confederacy was not completely destroyed, she would be disadvantaged in every possible way. At the beginning of the war, the Serkan Confederacy held nearly nine hundred separate territories and states. At the end, mostly due to the terms of the cease-fire, that number has dwindled to somewhere between two-hundred to four-hundred, as there are a lot of undecided parties, or, alignments are just straight-up confusing. The entire situation is a mess, leaving the Serkan Confederacy disgraced to no end.

These four men will change everything.

Naturally, this never happened. Wars are troublesome things. With the success of the Focysu Operation, finally, the New Ryyhargon Kingdom was wedged out of District Daanfroth allowing the Serkan Triumvirate's full military force to prepare for combat against three foes: the demoralised New Ryyhargon Kingdom by the Confederacy of Independent States, the exhausted Delnari Union by the Dregonian League, and the aggravated albeit neutral Ppyrat Empire by the Talgoran Empire.

No-one cares about the looming threat of The Union.

That is a bad thing.
